He joined Ningguo Cement Plant in 1980 and served successively as deputy director of personnel, production and equipment, director of Ningguo Cement Plant, and general manager of the company. He is currently the Chairman and Secretary of the Party Committee of Anhui Conch Group Co., Ltd., Chairman of Anhui Conch Cement Co., Ltd., Chairman of Anhui Conch Venture Capital Co., Ltd., and concurrently serves as Vice Chairman of China Building Materials Industry Association and Expert Committee Expert of China International Engineering Consulting Company, etc. position. Under the leadership of the management team with Comrade Guo Wensan as the squad leader, Conch Group was established with Ningguo Cement Factory as the main body. It has successively built my country’s first 5,000-ton daily production new dry process demonstration line, the first 10,000-ton daily new dry process line, and the first 10-million-ton clinker production base. Comrade Guo Wensan is also committed to the development of circular economy, the application and promotion of waste heat power generation technology, and the commissioning of urban domestic waste incineration projects. He has built one of the ten key projects for energy conservation and emission reduction, making Conch the leader in my country's cement industry and the industrial structure. The vanguard of adjustment has created miracles one after another in my country's cement industry, built century-old monuments, and formed a new group management pattern of "the main business has deep roots and other businesses have luxuriant branches", laying the foundation for the cement industry. The industry has made contributions to building resource-saving and environment-friendly industries. Comrade Guo Wensan has in-depth research on the process technology of the cement industry, and has thirty years of experience in cement enterprise management. He has successively won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award for the New Dry Process Cement Production Key Technology and Equipment Development and Engineering Application Project issued by the State Council. Award, the National "May 1st" Labor Medal, the National Model Worker in the Building Materials System, and the enterprise management talents with outstanding contributions in Anhui Province.
