How to bake persimmons

Persimmon is one of the common fruits in our lives. There are many varieties, including ox-heart persimmon, chicken-heart yellow persimmon, pointed persimmon, black persimmon, Luotian persimmon, etc. Persimmon flesh is smooth and plump, delicious and sweet, and is deeply loved by people. But every year during the persimmon harvest season, there is always a problem that bothers people, that is, how to ripen the persimmons as quickly as possible. Here, villager Xiao Jiang has several practical methods to share with everyone.

One: Plant ash ripening method.

Prepare a layer of plastic film in advance and lay it flat on the ground. Spread fresh plant ash on top. The thickness of the plant ash is about 15 to 20 cm high. Put the newly picked persimmons one by one into the plant ash, let the plant ash submerge the persimmons, and then cover them with plastic film. After about 7 to 10 days of this, the persimmons will gradually become rosy and ripe.

You can also use a bucket or basin to hold plant ashes, submerge the newly picked persimmons in the plant ashes, and then seal the mouth of the bucket or basin with plastic film. After about a week of this, the persimmons will gradually become rosy and ripe.

Two: Cooking wine and vinegar ripening method.

Arrange the persimmons picked first one by one. Choose high-concentration cooking wine and pour it into the bowl. Use a toothbrush dipped in cooking wine and brush the persimmons one by one, especially the parts where the persimmons hang from the branches. Apply a few more drops, which will also speed up the ripening of the persimmons. If you can cover it with plastic film after applying wine, it will shorten the ripening time of persimmons.

You can use vinegar to ripen persimmons in the same way. Here I recommend using white vinegar.

Three: Fruit interaction method.

You can put persimmons and apples, bananas, mangoes, pears, etc. in the same drawer (or in the same bucket or basin). If placed in a bucket or basin, cover the bucket or basin with a thick cloth, which will increase the degree of sealing. Due to the mutual interaction between fruits, persimmons will be ripened at the same time as they ripen themselves.

Four: Salt water brewing method.

Although this method cannot soften the persimmons, it can make the persimmons ripe and taste as crisp as apples when eaten.

Choose a large basin, fill it with 2/3 warm water, and add an appropriate amount of salt. Stir the water with chopsticks to fully dissolve the salt. Put the picked persimmons into a basin and submerge them in water. If the persimmons appear to float, you can put a pot lid or other objects in the basin to sink the persimmons into the water. After about 24 hours, the persimmons can be taken out and eaten.

Summary. Persimmon trees in rural areas generally do not need to be treated with medicine. Persimmon is also a natural, nutritious fruit. The above method not only ensures that the original nutrients of persimmons are not lost while accelerating their ripening, but is also extremely safe. Friends, you may wish to give it a try.
