First, put it in a box or basin and spray water regularly.
Hairy crabs have strong vitality. As long as the room temperature is between15 and 25℃, it can be stored indoors. Put the hairy crabs in a spacious box or basin, and pay attention to spraying some water regularly to ensure the humidity of their environment. This kind of crab can live for 3~5 days.
Second, keep the water alive in the bathtub.
If you buy too many hairy crabs, you can feed them in the bathtub. The bathtub is smooth around, which can ensure that hairy crabs will not escape from prison. Put a proper amount of water (only 1~3cm thick) in the bathtub to ensure the humidity of hairy crabs, and then put some small fish, loach and live shrimp as their food, which can be stored for 5~ 10 days and can be caught and eaten at any time.
Tips: Hairy crabs stored at room temperature must not be brushed in advance. Brushing will do great harm to hairy crabs and lead to a large number of deaths.
Three. Plastic buckets/cans are kept alive with water.
Prepare a plastic bucket/basin with a height of 30-50 cm. The inner wall of the plastic bucket/basin is smooth and difficult to get rid of. Put the hairy crabs in, don't stack them; Then add water to half the height of the hairy crabs and keep them moist. Don't bury the hairy crabs. If the water is too deep, crabs will suffocate due to lack of oxygen. Don't cover the bucket/basin, check the hairy crabs every day, and eat the hairy crabs with insufficient vitality in time, so as to preserve the hairy crabs. When the temperature is not high, hairy crabs can be kept fresh for more than 5 days.
