Old Town of Lijiang's specialties are: diced chicken with bean jelly, Lijiang Baba, rice sausage, ribs hot pot, soybeans and so on. As a minority city, Old Town of Lijiang has its own unique Naxi style from the overall layout of the city to the engineering buildings, which combines the essence of Han, Bai, Yi and Tibetan nationalities.

Chicken bean bean jelly

Bean jelly is a traditional food that Naxi people like. Produced in Bashang, Lijiang, belonging to the soybean family. Because it is shaped like the eyes of a chicken head, it is named chicken pea powder. This kind of bean is ground into vermicelli and its color is gray-green. Stir-fried and cold are delicious, which is delicious on the Naxi table.

Lijiang Baba

The main raw material is local refined wheat flour, plus spices such as ham, cooking oil and sugar, which are evenly mixed and kneaded into layers. Eat a golden crisp, sweet and delicious, oily but not greasy.

Rice enema

Rice sausage is made by mixing pig blood, rice and various spices in a certain proportion, and then pouring them into the processed pig sausage. You can try Dashiqiao snacks. Located in the ancient city of Dashiqiao, it is the earliest and most authentic traditional pasta snack bar in Lijiang, with a history of more than 80 years.

Ribs hotpot

Both Yunnan and Sichuan eat spicy food, but they eat spicy food in different ways. Yunnan is full of this dried Chili powder, and Sichuan has its own advantages in playing that spoonful of red oil. Put tofu in it, it tastes better. After the soup is boiled, pour a little sparerib soup and soak it in the hot pot with the ribs. Put a sparerib in and soak it. It is delicious.

Yellow soybean

Ordinary soybean hot and sour soup is similar to whistle noodles, but it tastes different. The fried soybeans inside are crispy and delicious. Add crispy fried soybeans to smooth and chewy noodles, and then add onions, peppers, oil and balsamic vinegar. The soup base is sour and spicy, which is very appetizing. However, the original ingredients are not soybeans, but a few fried pigskins and two or three small fish. Adding soybeans is a long-term evolutionary process.

Old Town of Lijiang's climate is influenced by Gao Yuanfeng in South Asia, with obvious vertical distribution, distinct wet and dry seasons and little temperature change.
