Part 2
Last week, the teacher gave us a task, let us observe the growth process of bean sprouts, and write a "bean sprouts growth story".
Once we got home, my mom and I each grabbed a handful of soybeans and put them into a clean, dry pot, and then poured some warm or cold water into them, so that the soybean sprouts could soak in the water. After a while, I realized that the soybeans were still round, how come they are now oval?
The next day, I came over and looked, eh? The bean sprouts grew a little tail, and guess what the little tail really is? It's the little sprout that comes out of the soybean. I carefully covered the towel, afraid to touch the soybean sprouts. On the third day, I found that many, many soybeans had sprouted. On the fourth day, the soybean sprouts grew a great deal taller.
The fifth day, I found that the bean sprouts have grown to two or three centimeters long, I close to smell, really fragrant. Mom said that in another day or two, the sprouts would grow longer and even grow whiskers.
It was really fun to watch the soybean sprouts grow. I also realized that soybean sprouts can't grow without temperature, water and air.
