Introduction: Perennial herb, 20-50 cm tall. The stems are thin and branched, gray-green. There are few leaves, the lower leaves are opposite and larger, and the upper leaves are alternate and smaller; the leaves are linear-lanceolate, 15 to 20 mm long, 2 to 4 mm wide, entire or sparsely toothed. Raceme: calyx bell-shaped, apex 5-lobed; corolla tube cylindrical or upper part open, 2-lipped, purple; stamens 4, hidden, 2 long and 2 short. Capsule is nearly spherical, split, and brown. There are many seeds, slightly sunk in a more or less fleshy placenta. The flowering period is from July to August. The fruiting period is from August to September.

Born in fields, roadsides and riverbank sandy areas. Distributed in northwest my country.
