Steps of five-minute breakfast
1 A bottle of eight-treasure porridge, two small eggs (imperial concubine eggs with green shells) and a milk pot, to prepare for today's breakfast.
2 put the eggs in the milk pot, add water and soak the eggs.
3 Put on the stove and start to cook the eggs. After boiling for one or two minutes, the flame can be turned off, and then let the eggs soak in hot water for about 5 minutes (take advantage of the gap between soaking eggs and washing).
Take out the eggs and put them in cold water, soak them, then shell them and cut them in half.
5 while the eggs are soaked in cold water, pour the eight-treasure porridge into the milk pot and heat it.

Tip: Generally, small eggs are cooked for one or two minutes, and soaking for five minutes is enough. Boil the bigger eggs for three or four minutes.
