What is MMS on cell phone, and what is the difference between cell phone SMS?
MMS is China Unicom's multimedia messaging service (i.e., MMS, which is an abbreviation of MultimediaMessagingService) service, which is most characterized by its support for multimedia functions and its ability to deliver fully functional content and information, which includes text, images, sound, data and other information in various multimedia formats. MMS is technically not actually a type of SMS, but rather a WAP wireless application protocol for transmitting information such as images, sound and text under the support of GPRS network. MMS service can realize instant end-to-end cell phone (including sending to China Mobile users), cell phone terminal to Internet or Internet to cell phone terminal multimedia information transmission.

Point-to-point SMS service refers to the transmission of SMS from cell phone to cell phone. Among them, intra-network point-to-point SMS refers to the mutual sending of SMS between Unicom users, and off-network point-to-point SMS refers to the mutual sending of SMS between Unicom users and users of other networks.
