(The so-called triangle cactus) Because sword flowers bloom in the middle of the night like epiphyllum, and the flowering period is very short, from opening to withering only about one hour, and it takes only a few minutes to fully open, so it is very difficult to complete pollen fertilization. In the natural state, moths and the like or wind can help the sword flower pollinate occasionally, and bees do not collect pollen at night. Therefore, it is difficult for us to see achievements such as sword flowers. But because pitaya is artificially pollinated, orchard workers have to rush to pollinate every night. Moreover, this pollination project is very urgent, and it will not bloom again after it is spent. Even artificial pollination may not bear fruit. Workers must also have a growth hormone cotton swab applied to the primary ovary to promote fruit growth. This is because the flowering and reproduction of sword flowers are not strong.

In addition, cactus will bear fruit, because of different fruit types, there will be red and yellow. All kinds of cactus in my family have only seen three kinds of fruits, all of which are red. It is said that cactus with thorns will bear yellow fruit. This has not been confirmed.
