Today I read a story called "Christmas Gift". This story made me unable to calm down for a long time.
The story takes place on Christmas Eve. Because the boy Rob's family was poor, he had no money to buy a gift for his father. In order to let his father rest for a while, Rob finally decided to get up in the middle of the night to help his father milk the cows as a Christmas gift to his father. When his father found out, he felt very sorry for him because he was just growing old and didn't want him to get up so early. I learned a lot from this story. Rob and Dad are considerate and caring about each other. The deep father-son love between them is touching. Although their family is very poor, as long as there is love, the home is full of warmth. Although he is young, he can understand his father's hardships. I'm not usually very attached to my dad, but when he goes on a business trip, I miss him very much. I should care about and be considerate to my parents because their jobs are also very hard.
"Whoever speaks an inch of grass will be rewarded with three rays of spring light." Our love for parents is so deep that we should do something within our power to repay them.
