When Xu Guangping was in her second year of study at the Beijing Women's Higher Teacher's College (1923), she was able to witness Lu Xun's presence because the school asked a teacher from Peking University to teach her part-time, and Mr. Lu Xun gave them a lecture on "A Brief History of the Chinese Novel." Some years later, Xu Guangping recalled this first class as follows: "For a long, long time the students woke up. Some years later, Xu Guangping recalled the feeling of this first class and wrote: "For a long, long time, the students woke up, it was the breeze of early spring, new from the cold world blowing people, eerie to feel a hint of warmth ......" Mr. Lu Xun to the female students. The first lesson, it is not just to Xu Guangping alone left a deep impression.

A year later, Xu Guangping finally took the initiative to write a letter to Mr. Lu, but of course it was a vague attempt to test the waters. Mr. Lu Xun was a master of language, so how could he not read love between the lines? Mr. Lu Xun wrote back that night, calling him "Brother Guangping", which instantly made the 26-year-old Xu Guangping lose sleep. As you can see from the later publication of "A Book of Two Places," the two lovely teachers and students at first seemed to be playing word games, playing hide-and-seek with each other, before finally breaking through that layer of paper, and Mr. Lu Xun married Xu Guangping, who was 18 years younger than himself.

Yu and Malan

Malan was not in the classroom to hear Mr. Yu's lessons, but she should be regarded as one of his students. After graduating from the Anhui Provincial Art School, Malan was assigned to the provincial Huangmei Opera Theater. And Mr. Yu is the director of the Shanghai Theatre Academy, which should be said to be on the same line.

When Malan became famous with the performance of "Yan Fengying", a senior in the art world gave her a book and instructed her that she must read it to engage in theater work. This book is Mr. Yu's Art Creation Project, and it was this book that enabled Malan to meet Mr. Yu, who was sixteen years older than him, and they began their romance by exploring this book.
