School introduction:

Xinjiang Normal University was founded in197865438+February, and its predecessor was Urumqi No.1 Normal School and Xinjiang Teacher Training Department.

In the course of its development for more than 30 years, Xinjiang Normal University has always insisted on running schools by politicians and educators, striving to become a powerful force supporting education and economic and social development in Xinjiang. Unswervingly pursuing science, civilization, progress and truth, adhering to the school motto of "being knowledgeable and being a teacher", we have formed an excellent school spirit of "unity, dedication, realism and innovation".

We have always been committed to national rejuvenation and social progress, and have made important contributions to Xinjiang's economic and social development, especially the development of teacher education. The school has three campuses, namely Kunlun Campus, Xinyi Road 102, Shayibak District, Urumqi, Wenguang Campus, Kashi East Road 16, and Wenquan Campus, Guan Jing Road 100, Shuimogou District. The total area of the campus is 3 1, 8 1 mu (2 12.07 hectares), of which the Wenquan campus is 25 19 mu (167.93 hectares).

Wenquan Campus is a newly-built campus and administrative center of our school, with a planned total construction area of 654.38+100,000 ㎡ and a total investment of about 2.5 billion yuan. It is planned to be completed in three phases in 5-8 years. Hot spring campus will be built into a harmonious blend of man and nature, architecture and nature, poetic and picturesque. It will be a first-class landmark building complex in Xinjiang and even Central Asia. At present, the first phase project has been put into use.
