Cangzhu:Sexual flavor attributed to pungent, bitter, warm. Attributes to spleen, stomach and liver meridians.

Application 1. Used for dampness obstructing the spleen and stomach, epigastric distension and fullness, cold and damp leucorrhea, dampness and warmth disease as well as dampness-heat injection, foot and knee swelling and pain, impotence and weakness. Treatment of dampness obstruction of the spleen and stomach, and see the epigastric distension, loss of appetite, tiredness and fatigue, tongue coating white greasy thick turbid, often with thick Park, Chen Pi and other supporting applications; treatment of cold and wet leucorrhea, can be used with Angelica dahurica. Such as damp-heat leucorrhoea, and can be matched with mother, bitter ginseng, tomb head back; damp-heat injection, foot and knee swelling, impotence and weakness, can be matched with cypress, knee, coix seed, and so on; wet and warm disease can be matched with gypsum, mother of pearl, and so on.

2. It is used for rheumatism paralysis, limb joint pain. It is used in conjunction with Qiangwu and Duhong.

3. It is used in the symptom of wind-cold. It is used in conjunction with Qiangwu, Xinxin and Fangfeng.

4. For night blindness and dimness of eyes. Used with pig liver or sheep liver, shi dui ming.
