Tips
When purchasing snow peas, an oblate shape indicates the best maturity. If the pods are perfectly round, they are too old, and if the pods are sunken, they are too old. If the peas make a clicking sound in your hand, it means they are very fresh. Choose plump peas in the early stages of the season and tender ones in the later stages.
