1, Introduction
Brazilian red-eared turtle is native to America, which has high edible, medicinal and ornamental value and is very suitable for artificial breeding.
This turtle has two characteristics: first, it is not black, colorful, with red and vertical light green stripes on its head, dark green with regular geometric patterns on its back, a circumferential skirt like Chinese wings, and yellow, white and black nail patterns on its webbed, and each turtle is different. Second, lively, more active and faster than ordinary turtles.
2. Feeding environment
Red-eared turtles live in water most of the time and like to live in clear water. So water quality is very important. Change water every 1 ~ 3 days in summer 1 time. If the water color is brownish green or blue-green, it means that the water quality is too "fat" and all water should be changed in time. From June to September, due to the high temperature, changing water should be carried out 3 to 4 hours after feeding. In winter, turtles can change water less or not during hibernation. .
