Methods/steps
1
Pick chestnuts.
There are two main kinds of chestnuts, one is called Li Mao, and there are many tiny Mao Mao on the shell. The other is Li Ming, who looks shiny. Generally speaking, Li Mao tastes better when cooked, but Li Ming is sweet, which depends on different people's tastes.
2
Make a small incision.
Cut a small mouth on each chestnut with a knife, which not only saves fuel, but also helps to cook the chestnuts as soon as possible and peel the cooked chestnuts.
three
Cook in a pot.
Pour the chestnut into the pot, add water to boil, and after the water boils, reduce the heat to continue heating. When the chestnuts are ripe, the cracks will become bigger and you can smell the fragrance.
four
Peel off the shell.
After the boiled chestnuts are put into cold water, take them out immediately and shell and peel them as soon as possible. It's easier at this time, but it's not easy to peel it after drying.
five
Enjoy the food.
The peeled chestnuts can be eaten directly or put in the refrigerator, and a few are added when cooking soup, which is also delicious.
