Using a rice cooker to cook rice is simple and nutritious, but there are two little secrets to making it delicious. Master these two points, and no matter what ingredients are used to make it, it will be delicious. Pork belly, green beans and shiitake mushrooms are used to make braised rice. The ingredients are very simple. I mainly want to share two key points. In fact, you can make different delicious braised rice by combining different ingredients.
1. Prepare half an onion and cut it into shreds; prepare 2 taels of pork belly, which can be cut into thin slices or diced meat; soak five shiitake mushrooms in warm water (about 30 minutes) , cut into diced mushrooms; prepare a small bowl of green beans and wash them with water.
2. Turn on the wok and turn on medium heat. No need to put oil in the pot. Pour the pork belly into the pot, stir-fry evenly with a spatula for 2 minutes, and the pork belly will be fried out of oil. Add the chopped onions to the pot and continue to stir-fry evenly with the pork belly for 2 minutes.
3. At this time, the onions and pork belly in the pot will be fried and fragrant. Pour in the prepared mushrooms and green beans and stir-fry evenly for 1 minute. Add one tablespoon of edible salt, two tablespoons of light soy sauce, and half a tablespoon of dark soy sauce, stir-fry for another 1 minute and then turn off the heat. Prepare the rice in the rice cooker and add the same water as usual for cooking rice. Pour the pork belly and other ingredients in the wok into the rice cooker and spread them evenly on top of the rice.
4. Close the lid of the rice cooker and press the cooking button as usual. When the cooking time is up, don't rush to open the lid and continue to simmer for 5 minutes before it's ready.
Two key points for making rice cooker stewed rice: All ingredients (except rice) must be fried in oil; be sure to add minced onions, and be sure to saute with oil until fragrant. As long as you remember these two points, the rice cooked in the rice cooker will not stick to each other and absorb the nutrients and aroma of the ingredients, ensuring it is delicious.
