Ginsenoside is a steroid compound, also known as triterpene saponin, which mainly exists in medicinal materials of the genus Ginseng. Ginsenosides are considered to be the active ingredients in ginseng and have therefore become the target of research. Ginsenosides have a similar basic structure, containing a steroid core composed of 30 carbon atoms arranged in four rings. They are divided into dammarane type and oleanane type according to their different glycoside structures.
