The New Year’s Eve dinner is a reunion dinner. The whole family is reunited, sitting around the table, which is fulfilling and joyful. The beginning of the New Year's Eve dinner means that we have to start eating and drinking, but there are ways to eat and drink. What will be the consequences of eating and drinking? A bunch of post-holiday syndrome awaits you: gaining three pounds during the holidays, gastrointestinal discomfort, fatigue, etc. However, there is no need to worry, the editor below will give you a few ideas to help you celebrate the New Year with peace of mind.
01? First of all, we want to talk about the ingredients.
If there are as many varieties as possible, up to 12 types (including staple food), we can give 60 points. If it can reach 20 types, then the food preparation will be 80 points. The remaining 20 points depend on the freshness of the ingredients, the combination of ingredients, the cooking method, and the choice of condiments.
There are several indispensable ingredients for New Year’s Eve family banquets everywhere, such as green vegetables (Anle Cai), celery (Qinqinchenchen), rice cakes (Bubugao), dumplings (Wan Wanshun), fish ( More than enough every year).
02? Secondly, the recipe combination
One-third should be vegetarian dishes, one-third should be half-vegetarian and half-vegetarian, and the remaining one-third should be various meat dishes. Try to use steaming, boiling, stewing, or cold cooking methods for ingredients. For example, you can make a few light cold dishes for vegetarian dishes. Use steaming or stewing for meat dishes as much as possible, and try to avoid frying, roasting, or deep-frying. Avoid excessive intake of fat and retain the comprehensive nutrition of the ingredients as much as possible.
03? Furthermore, when it comes to the order of eating.
Drink lighter soup first, then eat lighter vegetarian dishes (cold vegetables, stir-fried vegetables, etc.), then eat meat dishes (fish, poultry, eggs, milk), and finally consider eating staple foods.
Specially, we can only try some meat dishes. Now that life is affluent, we should start to pay more attention to the quality of life. The quality of food lies in the quality, not the abundance. At the same time, in terms of staple food, try to use coarse grains. For example, prepare some potatoes, such as yams, potatoes, taro, or corn instead of rice. This way you can eat the least amount of staple food and have the best nutrition.
04?Meanwhile, let’s talk about drinks.
Drinks are inevitable at the dinner table, and wine is also a drink. Drinking wine can make you happy, a small drink can make you happy, but a big drink can harm your health. Drink 2 taels of 50℃ white wine and walk briskly for ten minutes to burn off all the calories.
Adult women should not drink more than 450 ml of beer (a large bottle of beer is 500 ml) and no more than 150 ml of wine; adult men should not drink more than 750 ml of beer and 250 ml of wine, 38℃ Do not exceed 75 ml of liquor, and do not exceed 50 ml of higher alcohol liquor.
Some data show that two 500ml bottles of sweet drinks are equivalent to one extra meal. What needs more attention is that only about 10% of juice drinks are real juice, and the rest are water, preservatives, sweeteners and other additives, so it is not recommended to drink too much.
Drink more freshly squeezed juice, which can aid digestion. For example, adding orange and apple juice is simple, convenient and tastes good. Oranges and kiwis are also good combinations.
05? Finally, let’s talk about snacks.
Try to give priority to the following snacks:
Fresh fruits: Try to eat more digestion aids, such as hawthorns, citrus, oranges, and bananas.
Fresh vegetables: can be made into salads and can aid digestion.
Healthy milk: yogurt, pure milk, excluding dairy products: yogurt, sour yogurt, etc.
Dried fruits: Try to use naturally dried or sun-dried fruits, try not to eat pickled fruits.
Nuts: Try to choose original ones, a handful a day. If you eat moldy or bitter nuts, spit them out immediately. Eating it by mistake can easily cause gastrointestinal discomfort, and excessive intake can increase the risk of liver cancer.
