Cages can be used for short-term culture and should be placed in rivers or lakes with a water depth of more than 2 meters.

Mode of transport

Shrimp transport by running water truck: it consists of trolley, live fish box, shrimp box and oxygen increasing system. The shrimp box is framed by wooden strips and covered with plastic nets around and at the bottom. Its reference dimensions are: length, width and height = 80cm, 40cm, 10cm. Shrimp boxes full of live shrimps are neatly stacked in live fish boxes.

Nylon bags are filled with oxygen to transport shrimp: double-layer black nylon bags are used, with specifications of about 42 cm and 60 cm. Check the nylon bag for air leakage before transporting shrimp. Then inject fresh water into the space of 1/5, add live shrimps, inflate and tie them tightly, and then pack them into cartons or calcium plastic box with nylon bags, either by air or by land.

Matters needing attention

Pay attention to the physique of shrimp: choose healthy, disease-free and injury-free shrimp, because sick shrimp and thin shrimp can't stand transportation and toss, which is easy to cause death.

Strengthen inspection: before shipment and during transportation, check whether the shrimp box is damaged and whether the shrimp activities are normal.
