How to drink antler water
The so-called deer antler refers to the unossified young antlers with velvet hairs of a kind of male deer such as sika deer and horse deer, which is actually a kind of valuable traditional Chinese medicine. Deer antler is rich in antlers containing phospholipids, glycolipids, gum lipids, hormones, fatty acids, amino acids, proteins and calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sodium and other ingredients, of which the amino acid component accounts for more than half of the total composition. According to Li Shizhen's "Compendium of Materia Medica" of the Ming Dynasty, "Deer antler is good at tonifying the kidney and yang, producing essence and blood, tonifying the marrow and strengthening the bones.
Deer antler is a very precious Chinese medicine, so it is relatively expensive. In terms of preservation, the antlers will generally be scalded in boiling water and then dried, and when the blood is drained, the velvet is scraped off with a knife or glass, and finally the velvet skin is brushed with water and placed in a sealed container, placed in a cool, dry place for preservation. If you want to use antler to drink water, you can take out the antler and cut it into slices, and then put it back to the original sealed preservation.
