Quaker oats are thick no matter how they are cooked. I don't like the smell as much as you do. I changed Australian oats some time ago. It's a treasure! The taste of bubbles is very refreshing, and the particles are basically distinct. The oats of sago are similar. Anyway, it's the kind of oats with larger particles and more integrity. It won't rot after soaking. Zaomai is much better than Quaker. Trust me, replace Quaker.
