1. When using a split heat meter, the distance between the integrator and the flow sensor should not exceed 10m.
2. Installation of flow sensor
1) The flow sensor for the heat meter can be installed on the heating supply or return pipe. Installed on the return pipe to extend service life.
2) The flow sensor for the heat meter should be installed on a pipe with a diameter equal to its nominal diameter, and a straight pipe section of specified length should be provided at the front and rear ends (provided by the product sample, generally there should be a Straight pipe section 6~12 times nominal diameter).
3) When installing the flow sensor, consider leaving space for easy reading and maintenance.
4) When installing the flow sensor, pay attention to the direction of water flow, and set isolation valves before and after the flow sensor.
5) The flow sensor should be installed on a horizontal pipe with the meter head pointing vertically upward; a filter should be installed on the front end of the flow sensor.
3. Installation of temperature sensor
1) The temperature sensor must be installed outside the straight pipe section specified by the flow sensor; the water temperature in the pipe where the temperature sensor is installed must be uniform. When installing a temperature sensor on the same pipe as the flow sensor (water supply pipe or return pipe), it is best to install it at the rear end (downstream) of the flow sensor;
2) The temperature sensor should not be installed At a higher position of the pipe (which may not be filled with liquid), and a certain distance d is maintained from the nearest possible branching point (to avoid uneven water temperature), the value of d is provided by the manufacturer.
3) Determine the depth of inserting the temperature sensor into the pipe. The principle should be to position the thermal sensor in the center of the pipe and slightly lower.
4) Another sheath should be installed near the sheath of the temperature sensor for inserting a standard thermometer for detection.
4. Installation of the integrator
1) The ambient temperature where the integrator is located cannot exceed the temperature range indicated by the manufacturer.
2) The connecting lines, cables and connection methods between the integrator and each component shall be in accordance with the manufacturer's regulations.
3) If the integrator requires an external power supply, it must comply with the requirements for electrical parameters and wiring diagrams provided by the manufacturer.
