The ancient poems about the Jingzhe solar term are as follows:
"Ode to the Two and Four Qi Poems: The Jingzhe February Festival" (Yuanzhen, Tang Dynasty) The Yang Qi first awakens the Insects, and the time is bright and the earth is full. Peach blossoms bloom, Shu brocade blooms, eagles age and spring doves grow old. Time competes for pressure, and buds cultivate each other. Human beings are engaged in business, and fields are cultivated.
This poem by Yuan Zhen paints a beautiful picture of the awakening of insects. During the Jingzhe, Yang Qi gradually rises, and the whole earth is full of vitality. The peach blossoms are as beautiful as Sichuan brocade, turtle doves are singing on the trees, and the buds on the trees are also competing to grow, and they are green. People are also busy plowing and sowing in the farmland, and everything is pregnant with hope.
"Spring Boating" (Lu You, Song Dynasty) The child Mo Xiao is from Chen, and the lakes and seas are renewed in spring. The sound of thunder shook the houses, and the sky opened and the earth turned. The color of Linlin River is swollen and the stone is dark, and the curling willow silk shakes the koji dust. I wanted to go to Orchid Pavilion but turned back, laughing and chatting and finally feeling ashamed of my innocence. This is one of the few poems written by Lu You that describes scenery. During the Waking of Insects, the poet was boating on the lake to enjoy the scenery and advised the children not to laugh at his age.
Spring thunder bursts, just like when the universe first opened and the world was created. The sparkling river water submerged the black stones, and the delicate willow silk was like yellow dust. The poet wanted to rest in a pavilion on the shore. Seeing such a beautiful scenery, he unconsciously started rowing again.
"The Moon in Qin Lou·Gathering of Floating Clouds" (Song Dynasty, Fan Chengda) The gathering of floating clouds. Light thunder faintly awakened the insects. First awakening of insects. The doves are croaking angrily, and the green poplars are blowing in the wind. The smoke from the jade furnace is heavy with fragrance. The walls are thick with apricots and swallows. Yanzhi is wet. Where the fancy decorations are missing, the painted buildings and figures stand.
This poem describes the time of the Waking of Insects, with faint thunder, wet drizzle, green poplar trees in the wind, and the rapid and clear calls of geese. wisps of incense rise from the jade furnace, and the apricot blossoms and swallow flowers in the rain are exceptionally bright in color, presenting a spring scene with birds singing and flowers fragrant. At the end of the poem, it is pointed out that "the flowers are missing, and the people in the painting are standing", which immediately makes the scene full of people and brings the artistic conception to life. The whole word is lyrical and implicit, elegant and gentle.
"Shocking Sun and Thunder" (Qiu Yuan of the Song Dynasty) There was a thunder in the Kun Palace in the middle of the night, and the hibernating flower room had already opened at dawn. The wild wind blows out the candles, and the bright rain hits the window quickly. Suddenly the vegetation and trees are in a different spirit, and the weather is naturally urging people to communicate. Only the stone turtles and the wood geese remained stationary until spring came back.
This poem describes the scene after the spring thunder on the day of the Waking of Insects. Spring thunder rang in the middle of the night, and in the morning I saw the flowers in full bloom. There are strong winds and heavy rains in the wild. After being washed by the rain, the vegetation takes on a new look. Only Shi Gui and Mu Yan were still the same, quietly watching the return of spring to the earth.
