1. Chinese medicine conditioning
Traditional Chinese medicine believes that halitosis is caused by two major reasons, namely, damp heat in the stomach meridian. The methods of conditioning halitosis caused by these two reasons are not the same.
(1) Dysphagia
The symptoms of dyspeptic halitosis are long-term poor appetite, yellow face and emaciation, but good spirits. Most of the reasons for this situation are because the baby's diet is improper or improper feeding. Therefore, Chinese medicine believes that this type of halitosis should be based on digestion and stomach.
Medicinal materials: fried malt10g, medicated leaven10g, burnt hawthorn10g, and agastache rugosa 6g.
Methods: Soak all kinds of medicinal materials in water for 20 minutes, then put them in a pot and fry them on low fire 15 minutes. When drinking, you can add appropriate amount of sugar to take it. Note: this prescription is the daily amount of children around 3 years old.
(2) Dampness and heat in stomach meridian.
The symptoms of damp heat in the stomach meridian are yellow and red tongue coating, accompanied by bad breath, restless sleep and irritability, and some babies sometimes have dry stools. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that this type of halitosis can be mainly based on clearing heat and drying dampness.
Medicinal materials: Erhua10g, Pogostemon cablin 6g, Eupatorium odoratum 6g, Gardenia 6g, and rhubarb 2g can be added for dry stool.

2. Western medicine treatment of children's halitosis
When the baby has bad breath, the mother chooses one of hydrogen peroxide 1%, soda water 2% or boric acid water 2% to gargle the baby, which can relieve the bad breath of children. But mothers should pay special attention to the use of antibiotics under the guidance of doctors and not abuse them.
