The flowering color of shepherd's purse is mainly yellow-green. In the early stage of shepherd's purse flowers, the color is dark green, and the flower buds are green on the outside and white on the inside. When entering the growth stage, the petals are white, and finally the shepherd's purse flowers are green when they are mature. Shepherd's purse flower has many functions, including cooling blood and stopping bleeding, lowering blood pressure, clearing away heat and diluting dampness.
The flower stems of shepherd's purse are upright, branched, slightly branched or simply hairy. The basal leaves are clustered, rosette-shaped, with long petioles, up to 5-40mm; the large heads of the leaves are pinnately split, up to 12cm long, up to 2.5cm wide, and the terminal lobes are larger, ovate to long-ovate, 5 long. -30mm, lateral ones are 2-20mm wide, with 3-8 pairs of lobes, small, narrow, round to oval, apex acuminate, lobed or irregularly serrated; stem leaves narrowly lanceolate, 1-2cm long, 2-15mm wide, with an arrow-shaped stem at the base, notched or serrated edges, and fine or hairless hairs on both sides.
