Therefore, there must be a cold dish on our dining table almost every day. It is fresh and refreshing, not greasy, and makes people love it.
Kelp shreds are a common ingredient in wet markets, and are usually found where clams are sold. It has a crisp texture and full fragrance. It was welcomed by our whole family. It was served cold and served on the table. One bite after another, we couldn't stop eating. This refreshing cold dish, cold kelp shreds, is really suitable for summer. Do you like it?
However, many people make the wrong method of making this cold dish. They cook it directly after cutting it, which is a big mistake. No wonder many people complained about the fishy smell after making it! In fact, as long as you remember 2 tips, you will make it delicious, crispy and not fishy. I will share the method with you below.
Preparation materials: dried kelp, spicy millet, onion and garlic, salt, light soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, white vinegar, spicy oil
1. You can buy kelp according to your personal preference. If it's troublesome, just buy fresh ones. I bought dried kelp here, so I need to put it in water and soak it for a while.
2. After soaking, rub it repeatedly for a period of time until the dirt and other dirt on the surface are removed. Then prepare a new basin of clean water, add an appropriate amount of white vinegar to it, then put the kelp shreds in it and soak them for a period of time to remove the smell.
3. Just soak it for about 15 minutes. Now let’s blanch the water. Prepare a pot of water, add a little white vinegar, put the kelp shreds in and cook. After boiling for 5 minutes, turn off the heat and let it cool naturally. Do not use cold water. Personally, I think the texture will become very hard after the cold water is used.
4. Next, chop the onions and garlic, cut the millet into rings, and put them into a bowl. Next, add a certain amount of salt, light soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, and spicy oil into it, and stir evenly.
5. After the kelp shreds cool down, drain the water, take them out and put them on a plate. Finally, pour the sauce above, mix well and serve.
The shredded kelp tastes so fragrant when served cold like this, and a little spicy oil is added to enhance the flavor. I just can't put it down. If you don’t have an appetite at noon in summer, then try making this dish. It’s delicious, crispy and not fishy.
