Cucumber is mainly parthenocarpy, and the female flower is not fertilized at flowering stage. In the early stage of plant growth, the supply of nitrogen fertilizer is insufficient. The plant growth is weak, and the nutrition is unbalanced in the late stage of fruit expansion.

Preventive and control measures:

1, balanced water supply throughout the growth period.

Keep the soil moist, strengthen fertilizer supply, increase medium and trace elements to achieve the coordination of nutrition ratio, and increase potassium nitrate and plant ash. Or spray the plants with 0.2% urea and 0.3% potassium dihydrogen phosphate. Ensure sufficient nutrient accumulation and avoid excessive drought, water shortage or flooding.

2. Create good flowering and pollination conditions.

Such as bee release, artificial pollination and hormone soaking, to improve the quality of pollination and fertilization.
