How to make steamed wuchang fish ?
One Wuchang fish, preferably live and about 1 catty in size. Ask the fishmonger to help clean it up
Wash the cleaned fish and wipe it dry
Slice the green onion and ginger finely
Prepare a large plate that can go into the steamer, one that can hold the whole fish
Lay a layer of shredded green onion and ginger on the plate first, and arrange the fish on top of it

Tips
