Toona sinensis originated in China and is known as "the vegetable on the tree". China has a long history of eating Toona sinensis since ancient times, and it became popular in the Han Dynasty. Every spring around Tomb-Sweeping Day, Toona sinensis grows like mushrooms after rain. There is a saying in the countryside that there is a Toona sinensis tree that can be eaten all year round. To this end, many families in our country like to plant several Toona sinensis trees in front of their houses or yards.

In the past, when materials were still scarce, Toona sinensis was a delicacy in everyone's eyes. Spring is coming, and everyone likes to make scrambled eggs with Toona sinensis. Old women in rural areas also like to tie them up one by one and sell them in the street for money. This should be a childhood memory of many older generations.
