I learn Cantonese from scratch. My way to learn Cantonese is to watch more Hong Kong dramas. After watching a few movies, you will probably order. Let me tell you about my method of learning Cantonese.
Watch Hong Kong dramas and movies with subtitles first. Be sure to watch more, preferably every day, and be proficient.
When you think you have a basic level of Cantonese, you can try to watch Hong Kong dramas and movies without subtitles, but there are very few without subtitles, but most Hong Kong documentaries are without subtitles. You can try it and see how much you can understand.
All Cantonese words or sentences that appear in TV plays should be recorded, preferably in a notebook, and if they don't appear in the future, take out this notebook and have a look.
I downloaded several Cantonese softwares in my mobile phone, and I can learn them when I have time. I downloaded 3000 sentences of Niu Niu Cantonese and Cantonese.
That's about it. That's how I learned it. I've watched more than a dozen Hong Kong dramas and movies now, and my Cantonese level is a little basic. I can understand a few words when listening to others speak Cantonese, and I can understand simple daily conversations.
