Dazhou is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province. It is located in the eastern part of Sichuan Province. It is a populous city, a large agricultural city, a resource-rich city, an industrial town and a transportation hub in Sichuan Province. It is a famous old revolutionary area , known as "China's gas capital and the hometown of Ba people", is the starting point of the national "Sichuan-to-East Gas Transmission" project.
