Among the numerous grasslands in the world, four are recognized as "the four major grasslands in the world". They are Hulunbeier grassland, Bayinbuluke grassland, Nalati grassland and pampas grassland. Among them, except pampas Prairie, which is located in the south of South America, the other three prairies are all in China.

1, Hulunbeier grassland

Hulunbeier grassland is located in the east of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the west of Daxing 'anling Mountains, named after Hulun Lake and Bell Lake. Hulunbeier grassland is high in the east and low in the west, with an altitude of 650~700 meters. It is the best preserved grassland in China, ranking first among the four grasslands in the world, and is called the best grassland in the world. Because of its abundant aquatic plants, it is also called "forage kingdom". It is the birthplace of Genghis Khan, a generation of tianjiao, and also a famous tourist attraction at home and abroad, with a total area of149 million mu.

2. Bayinbuluke Grassland

Bayinbuluke grassland is located in the intermountain basin in the northwest of Hejing County, Xinjiang, in the middle of Tianshan Mountain. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, it is about 2500 meters above sea level and covers an area of 23835 square kilometers. It is the second largest grassland in China, second only to Hulunbeier grassland in Inner Mongolia.

3. Nalati grassland

Nalati Grassland is located in the east of Nalati Town, Xinyuan, xinyuan county, Yili Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China.

4. pampas Grassland

Pampas grassland is a subtropical grassland in southern South America and central and eastern Argentina. It is bordered by Golianchaco Grassland in the north, Patagonia Plateau in the south, the foothills of the Andes in the west and the Atlantic coast in the east, covering an area of about 760,000 square kilometers.
