Hot or cold water for passion fruit sauce
Passion fruit jam does not use hot or cold water. Passion fruit jam is made using the pulp of the passion fruit and sugar and does not require the addition of water. The pulp of the passion fruit itself is rich in juice, which when stirred with sugar creates a thick liquid of pulp and a solution of sugar. As it is heated and boiled, the jam thickens and solidifies. Therefore, there is no need to add cool or hot water to make passion fruit jam; simply mix the pulp of the passion fruit with the sugar and heat and boil until the desired consistency is reached.
