Achyranthes bidentata is an annual herb. The leaves are opposite, ovate or oblong-ovate, the leaves upward and below the inflorescence are lanceolate, with shallow or obtuse serrations or undulate shallow serrations, and the leaves below the inflorescence are sometimes entire or nearly entire. The flowering and fruiting period is July 7- 10/October. The whole plant of Achyranthes bidentata can be used as medicine, which has the functions of hemostasis and anti-inflammation. Indications: tonsillitis, pharyngolaryngitis and acute icteric hepatitis; External use to treat traumatic bleeding.
