Cultivation method of small tomatoes

Planting small tomatoes requires spreading 50% of the decomposed farm manure on the seedbed, sterilizing the seeds and wrapping them in gauze, then accelerating germination, keeping the spacing between the seeds at about10cm when sowing, then covering with a plastic film, watering in a large area after emergence, and applying phosphorus and potassium fertilizer once when flowering.

Seedbed is the most important cultivation method for small tomatoes. It is best to choose soil without vegetables. Before planting, 50% decomposed farm manure can be added to the soil, or 10 kg of plant ash and 1 kg of calcium phosphate can be evenly mixed and scattered on the soil.

2. Seed treatment

In order to protect small tomatoes from viruses during their growth, it is necessary to disinfect the seeds completely. First, clean the seeds with tap water, then wrap them with gauze, soak them in a container of 10% trisodium phosphate for about 20 minutes, then put them in a temperature environment of 28℃ to accelerate germination, and wait for 3 days before sowing.

3. Sowing process

If you want to have a high seed emergence rate, you need to sow seeds reasonably, the distance between seeds can be about 10 cm, then cover the soil by 0.5 cm, and then water a large area until the soil is wet. If the light is too strong, you need to cover it with a sunshade.

4. Fixed value

After deep ploughing, a certain amount of decomposed farmyard manure is applied to the soil, and then the ground is paved with a moisturizing film to maintain a high temperature. After emergence, ventilation is needed and several small holes are poked on the plastic film.

5. Post-planting management

Water once after the emergence of seedlings, and then no need to water again. Water the small tomatoes until the soil is soaked when they bloom, and then you need to increase the number of watering, which needs to be watered every 6 days or so. After bloom, you can apply 10 kg of Trim granular compound fertilizer containing phosphorus and potassium per mu, and you can apply the same weight of compound fertilizer once when the fruits grow.
