The combat/tactical Mod will remain unchanged, but it is personalized for you and can be used when you board any channel starship. The integrated Mod will be separated like an armor mod. The halo Mod of deep control will directly enter the designated halo slot, similar to the mod on your armor!

Dirac core to internal core

Since avionics are now treated as ordinary Mod, Dirac core (the upgrade resource of avionics) will be transformed into an internal core to obtain a more cohesive upgrade experience. All Dirac cores spent on your cell will be repaid (that is, if your cell reaches the maximum, at most 39,000 Dirac cores can be converted into internal cores), and all existing Dirac core stocks will be converted into internal cores at the rate of 1: 1 when logging in at 29 29. 10.0.

Each crew member can be permanently recruited once, but if you want to have more than three crew members, you need to buy more crew slots through the store or "terminate the contract" with one crew member. Improve their skill level and assign them specific roles before taking off, or change their tasks at any time through the tactical menu! As always, the crew will get experience points, which can be used as "ability points" to improve their talents. Although Mod has been moved to the individual player level, the components of your ship, such as shields, engines and weapons, will still depend on the settings of the host player. The update of Corpus channel starship will include some new collectible weapons and upgraded contents, but there will also be a brand-new component: hull materials. Since the changes in health and armor can no longer be applied to the channel starship itself, this component determines the health and armor of your ship.

Matching pattern change

Once your course starship and deep control are set up, it's time to find the task. We took advantage of this opportunity to simplify the matching mechanism of the channel starships and better follow the rules of the main game modes. In the past, the host player needed to start the task from his own channel starship (Liset or dry dock). Now, clicking a node that does not disclose a team in the regular star map will start your own task as a host, instead of a pop-up window showing an error that you can't join the team and asking you to go to the dry dock (or the rear of the orbiter).

What will be different in the mission?

When you first set foot on the Channel Starship, you may notice some key differences.

The left and right batteries behind the cockpit no longer exist, but are replaced by the turret entrance at the top and the turret entrance at the bottom of the channel starship. This makes the 360-degree rotation more reasonable, and can improve the feeling of aiming when moving, because now by default, you aim at the direction of the channel starship.

Back in the channel starship, there used to be a large open area with several floors, the top of which was connected to the catapult of the channel starship, followed by the cargo hold. This area basically no longer exists-all the important functions of the channel starship are compressed into a smaller space to reduce the crossing time between stations.

Back in the cockpit, you choose a task node and start from the dry dock. After going to the star area, the channel starship will be lighter and more mobile than before, which not only improves the basic speed of the channel starship, but also eliminates the boost energy bar of the channel starship! The pilot can't fire during the booster flight, but now it's easier to reach the mission target quickly. We added some cooling time to the drift action to balance the removal of the booster bar, but we can still use it more frequently than before!

Open the Tactics menu, and you will find that the minimap is static now, which is the demand of most players. Crew members will also appear at the bottom of the menu, and you can observe their positions or give new orders.

Now, bullets, missiles and fighter planes are flying fast in fierce battles. You aim at a group of Corpus fighters, deploy your personal avionics skills, and then oh no! Someone has used up all the flux energy!

If this has happened to you before, please don't worry. From this update, each player will have all channel starship loads respectively. From general consumables to dome energy bombs, you only need to pay attention to your own load consumption. These consumables will also slowly replenish themselves over time, so the channel starship will always be in a full load state before leaving the dry dock. At a critical moment, creating more loads in the cargo hold will replenish all Tenno's stocks on board, so dedicated engineers can still have a significant impact on the gameplay. This is the best!

Another important change in energy management needs to be noted-as a configuration from channel starship-based avionics to player-based, combat/tactical skills will consume armor energy, and flux energy will be completely removed from the game (all avionics related to it will be converted into an internal core). This enables players with existing energy supplies to make better use of these props in the regular channel starship game, thus further integrating the two aspects of the game. Now-let's talk about reactors. They exist to bring you avionics capacity and flux capacity. These two things have been removed now, so the new function of the reactor is to provide strength, range or duration gain for the channel starship combat avionics used on the ship!

The cost and function of avionics will be rebalanced with this new energy management. Our updated instructions will explain the specific information in the future, because we are still actively adjusting the balance.

The channel starship fault/accident system has also been updated, which will not directly affect the health or shield of the channel starship!

The channel starship battle inherits many familiar Warframe damage types, but they are different. Impact becomes ballistic, freezing becomes frost, and so on. We are removing the damage types of the second-tier channel starships to unify them and make the system based on what players have spent time learning: the core elements of Warframe. This means:

Ion = electric shock

Node change

The current channel starship mission nodes are distributed on Earth, Saturn and Veil proxima centauri. They give players a choice, but there is no really meaningful choice. The only choice is outpost-or other nodes that drop the required equipment. then what In the final analysis, players will only play a small number of nodes, and many channel starship task nodes are ignored. We are making some changes, deleting some existing Grineer nodes and making the channel starship develop in a healthy direction. This includes deleting the Gian point. This decision is not rash, but we think it is a necessary step to improve the diversity of tasks. We basically put the advantages of Gian point (a task that can be brushed quickly and has a high experience reward) into the goal of the channel starship itself, so that the diversity of content is not just played on a node repeatedly. The joining of Corpus proxima centauri will bring many new tasks (more than "outpost"! )。 We will also add the Corpus mission to the deep space of proxima centauri.

What can I continue to play?

Corpus channel starship is coming! These flying robots and crew will greatly expand the map of proxima centauri-three new planets (Venus, Neptune and Pluto proxima centauri) will join new enemies and new points of interest. Proxima centauri will also add the most difficult Corpus channel starship mission.

We will also enrich the existing mission types and strive to further combine the experience of the channel starship with the conventional Warframe gameplay.

Some of these new mission types are already familiar to everyone-classic defense and annihilation missions occasionally become the main targets of channel starship missions. Enter the capital ship as a team and withdraw the channel starship after completing the task.

We will also add two new task types! The first one is called Aoying, and everyone who participated in the activity of "Poison of Aoying" is familiar with it-killing Sentient invaders and using commanders and dead mecha to avoid the virtual energy pulse field. These tasks no longer drop tokens, but directly drop empowerment as an alternative to night hunting.

The second is a brand-new mission type, called Outbreak, which will provide the means to destroy the capital ship. Help Central Cy use the environment from the inside to cause reactor failure, and at the same time confront the engineers who come to stop you!

What will happen next?

Netherstorm and relics!

Different from our original plan, we can't release netherstorm in this update due to a lot of changes and new contents of the new channel starship. But it doesn't matter. Thematically, the real netherstorm belongs to Update 30: The Call of the Storm, which is based on netherstorm in many aspects. When netherstorm really arrives, they will provide Tenno with an opportunity to use the void relics in the channel starship mission! They will be a variety of tasks in rotation, just like the empty cracks in the ordinary star map, but they are much bigger and the storms are more violent.

Update 30: The Call of the Storm

All the work of updating 29. 10.0 is to prepare for updating 30: Call of the Storm. Update 30 will bring Sevagoth an iconic armor series mission, expose a new enemy, and more. We plan to release this update on the whole platform at the same time! Therefore, although update 29. 10.0 will log on to the PC platform first, update 30 will bring all these contents and Sevagoth to the host platform at one time.

Corpus Mystery, also known as Queenpin, is still planned to be released in an independent update in the future. Something like "Update 30.5". However, the updated version number in quotation marks may change.

It is difficult to make Warframe. It's harder to do Warframe well. We try-and then try more things. It constantly needs to be remade, re-examined and rebuilt. The state of the channel starship is far from perfect when it is released, but Warframe is always expected in the future. We tried a remake last year, but it wasn't deep enough. The combination of the dead mecha and Warframe core gameplay. Now everything is connected.
