Are the flowers of calla lily and taro exactly the same?
The flower difference between calla lily and taro is quite big, and there are many differences:

First, petals have different shapes. The petals of calla lily are cup-shaped and surround the stamens, and the tips of the petals bend in the opposite direction to the stamens; The flower of Alocasia alopecuroides is half-eagle beak-just like the upper part of eagle beak, the tips of petals bend towards stamens, much like the "sitting lotus goddess of mercy" in China mythology. (The word "Guanyin" in Drip Guanyin comes from this)

Second, the stamens are different. The stamens of alocasia alopecuroides are much thicker than those of Athyrium japonicum.

Thirdly, when the begonia flower withers, it will reveal a red and glittering seed stick like a red corn cob, while calla lily rarely bears seeds.

Fourth, the flowers of taro are almost all white. Anyway, I sold a lot of pots of taro and didn't see any other colors.
