Steps for Chestnut Cake
1
Chestnuts should be raw, you can use scissors to cut the chestnuts in the center and peel them.
2
When peeling the chestnuts, the membrane in the middle may not come off easily, but it's okay, it will be easy to peel it off when it's steamed. On the steamer, about half an hour or so, you can observe while steaming, until cooked, soft.
3
Steaming chestnuts can be and flour, will be material 1 of all the ingredients into a dough.
Whichever dough you make should be soft. (You can also use lard for this, but I used vegetable oil because I'm afraid of getting cerebral thrombosis if I eat too much lard...)
4
Knead all the ingredients of Ingredient 2 into a dough, preferably with warm water. It will make the dough soft. (Remember it all needs to be soft dough)
5
Knead the smooth dough and put it in a plastic box to rest. You can also cover it with plastic wrap. Or a damp towel (dough 1 should be a bit larger than dough 2).
6
I left one chestnut uncut, proving that steaming and peeling it will be easier than peeling it raw. Take off any film left on the chestnut while it's still warm.
7
Grind the chestnuts while they are still hot, to a fine powder. (You can also crush the chestnuts on a panel with a rolling pin).
8
Add lard, sugar to the chestnut powder. Add according to your taste. (Remember chestnuts are already sweet)
9
Mix the chestnut flour with lard and sugar, mix well.
10
Divide the dough 1, dough 2, and filling into equal number of small doses.
11
Take the small dosage of dough 2 and pinch it into a sheet, or you can roll it out with a rolling pin (it doesn't have to be too thin).
12
Place the small dosage of dough 1 on top of the dosage of dough 2.
13
Wrap the small dosage of dough 1 with the small dosage of dough 2 (the skin should be pinched tightly because of the oil).
14
Roll the wrapped small dosage into a long strip.
15
Roll up along the edge and let it rest for about 15 minutes (during this time make the other small dosages and place them in the order in which they were made).
16
After 15 minutes of resting (I didn't look at the time, I probably made the other small doses) continue to roll the rolled small doses in a diagonal direction to form a long strip.
17
Continue to roll along the edges.
18
Still again, as shown. Use in order.
19
(Remember to use the small doses in order as it takes time to rest) Take the first one made.
20
Flatten the rolled, rested dessert (you have to stand the rolled dessert on a panel and press it down diagonally. It will come out in layers).
21
Place the chestnut filling on top of the flattened dessert.
22
Close the mouth, remember to pinch it tightly or it will leak out later and be a pain in the ass.
23
Flatten the small dosage with the filling, (don't close it on the side, make sure it's underneath, so the filling won't come out).
24
Press sesame seeds on both the top and bottom of the chestnut cake.
25
I've made quite a few of these.
26
I don't have one of those double-sided pie pans at home, I use a pan. It's not bad at all. Before you put it in the pan, brush the pan with oil (I use vegetable oil, I don't have a brush in my house, I use a wooden spatula.) Remember to use low heat.
27
During the chestnut cake will absorb the oil, more observation, brush the oil ......
28
Low heat about 3.4 minutes, flip. (Remember to brush oil on the cake before flipping, it will also absorb the oil after flipping, remember to brush oil again).
29
Because it is a small fire, large fire, the cake will not be crisp.
Because the heat is low, if the heat is high, the cake won't be crispy, so you have to wait for the chestnut cake, which can be covered with a lid.
30
After two or three minutes on the OK. I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to do this, but I'm sure I'll be able to do it.
This is certainly no preservatives and flavors, huh
Move together.
Tips
Before in the supermarket has been seen selling chestnut kernels, but today I went to buy when there is no more. It's easier to just buy raw chestnut kernels.
If it's too much trouble to roll out the small dosage, you can just make a dough 2. and wrap the filling directly.
I think you can use the oven too.
