Xinjiang Normal University (XNU), located in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is a key teacher training institution in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and one of the first batch of newly established colleges and universities in the country after the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Party.
