Sea crabs can be frozen to prolong their freshness. Before preserving sea crabs, first cook them and then cool them completely. Place the sea crabs in a ziplock bag or container suitable for freezing and make sure to remove as much air as possible. Then place them in the freezer and keep them frozen at -18 degrees Celsius. Freezing is effective in preventing deterioration and spoilage of sea crabs, but the freezing process will have some effect on the texture of sea crabs. Thawed sea crabs after freezing will become slightly moist and slightly fluffy in texture, but still edible.
