Neoplema Nomurai (scientific name: Neoplema Nomurai), also known as Nomura jellyfish, belongs to Rhizopus of Marine Family. It is a giant jellyfish, flooding from the Yangtze River Delta to the Sea of Japan. It is very big, can reach 200 kilograms (450 pounds), can be eaten, and has the same width as adults. It is the largest jellyfish in the world. The name "Qian Yue" comes from the name of the ancient empire "Qian Yue State" in Fukui Prefecture.
