Guilin rice noodle
The real Guilin rice noodles must be dry mixed first, soaked in hot water, filled with water, cut into beef, cooked in a pot (fried with oil residue, crispy and fragrant), added with salt water, and then told at the seasoning counter: sour beans, sour bamboo shoots, shallots, fried soybeans and Chili sauce are all standard, and some have kelp and other ingredients. After adding ingredients, go to the next vat to add soup or not according to your preference. You can choose to sell rice noodles (cylindrical) or cut (wide and flat) in twos and threes.

The locals say that the most famous rice noodle shop is called Fulin rice noodle shop. It was originally opened in the center of Cross Street, but now it has moved near jiefang bridge. Niubabao
Like beef and hot pot in water. With special dipping sauce, the locals like it very much. Every time I come back, I will make an appointment with a beef restaurant called Niuda. I buy 2 pounds of beef and give it 1 pound. I can also give it in the water. It's spicy, but it smells good. Vegetarian dishes must have taro, which is fried with yuba. Although Beijing has gathered delicious food from all over the country, I have never seen anything with local characteristics like Niu Babao, so I must try it when I come to Guilin.
zongzi
There is a long-standing dispute about southern zongzi. Guilin Zongzi is naturally a southern salty Zongzi school, which generally has fresh meat, egg yolk and so on. Different from the northern zongzi, it has a shape, not a triangle, but a flat pillow shape. The second filling, which contains mung beans, is the latest and strangest in my opinion. Fat meat and greasy mung beans are a perfect match.
Generally, I don't deliberately go when I buy it myself, because there are stalls selling zongzi in the vegetable market. If we don't finish eating at home, we will fry the next meal, which will be more fragrant, just like we often have a second fried dumpling left in jiaozi. If you want to find an authentic shop, it must be Zongzi King near Guilin Middle School. The locals also call him Zongzi King. Anyway, there are navigation zongzi king and vacuum packaging, which tourists can take home to give away. The price is $3.5 to $4.5 each, girls. I want an eight-point full.
