What happened to Shuanghui? Who can tell me in detail?
Shuanghui claims "eighteen tests and eighteen reassurances", but pork does not test "clenbuterol". In Mengzhou, Henan Province, toxic pigs bred with "Clenbuterol" were successfully sold to companies under Shuanghui Group. So what is lean meat essence? What's the harm?

First, the chemical essence of "Clenbuterol"

The chemical name of clenbuterol is clenbuterol hydrochloride. It is a synthetic β -adrenergic stimulant, which can dilate bronchi and is often used to prevent and treat lung diseases such as asthma and emphysema. When its application dose reaches 5~ 10 times of the therapeutic dose, it also has the function of energy redistribution, which can increase muscle synthesis and reduce fat deposition, so it is commonly known as "clenbuterol". In animal husbandry production, some illegal producers add it as a growth promoter to animal feed to improve the quality of carcass, and at the same time, it also causes the residue of lean meat in food. Therefore, clenbuterol is neither a veterinary drug nor a feed additive, but a drug that seriously harms animal husbandry production and human health. This product is white or white-like crystalline powder, odorless, bitter and easily soluble in water.

Second, the performance of pigs after eating "lean meat"

1, pig's coat color is bright, its skin is ruddy, it likes to sleep rather than move, it hangs its belly, its hip muscles are plump and tight, and its fat is thin. An experienced butcher can judge whether the pig eats lean meat. Some pigs' back muscles are plump and concave into grooves, and it is difficult to get up when driving, wheezing and limping.

2. Driving pigs away in high temperature season is prone to stress reaction, which is characterized by difficulty in walking, unstable standing, trembling limbs, muscle tremor all over the body, dyspnea and shortness of breath, and will soon die.

3. Generally, feeding is temporarily added to the feed or drinking water 20 days before going on the market, but it is difficult to detect in the stock feed. If the feed is fed for more than 20 days, the pig will show signs such as instability and muscle tremor.

4. After slaughter, the carcass muscles are dark red in color, full and firm, with thin skin and less fat. However, the pork without clenbuterol is relatively light in color, thick in fat, and easy to ooze liquid from the muscle section. Because the butcher is misleading, if consumers can't distinguish, it is easy to buy unhealthy pork. Some unscrupulous butchers ask farmers to feed for their own interests, otherwise they will keep the price down or even refuse to buy it, which leads to the spread of the drug in pig breeding.

Third, the harm of lean meat residue to human body

Clenbuterol has a stable chemical structure, does not break down in the body, and is excreted in its original form. Studies have shown that clenbuterol can completely tolerate the high temperature of 100℃, and it will only be destroyed by half after frying at 126℃ for 5 minutes. Therefore, conventional cooking has no destructive effect on lean meat residue in meat products. If pigs do not have enough rest time before slaughter (generally more than 28 days), there is a high concentration of drug residues in muscles and internal organs. People with severe symptoms such as palpitation, muscle tremor, headache and nervousness appear after eating; Mild people don't feel obvious, but long-term consumption can cause "chronic poisoning", lead to chromosome aberration and induce malignant tumors.

Fourth, the detection of clenbuterol

The detection methods of clenbuterol residues in tissues include high performance liquid chromatography, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and so on. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) is commonly used for detection, and the required instruments and equipment: enzyme-labeled reader, centrifuge, shaker and micropipette. The required reagents and materials are provided by the kit manufacturer. When the test result is less than 1.0ng/ml, it can be judged as not detected, and when it is greater than, it can be judged as detected. This result should be confirmed quantitatively according to the need or not.

The quality of meat is directly related to the health of our people, and it is a major event that cannot be ignored. Compared with the problem of "water-injected meat", which was widely concerned by the society in previous years, pork containing lean meat is more direct to human body, and because it is difficult to distinguish the appearance of meat, this form of injury is more subtle and more severe.
