The Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Health of the State Council promulgated six grading standards for Lycium barbarum:

1 grade, Gongguo 180-200 capsules/50g;

Grade 2, Lycium barbarum King: 220 capsules/50g;

Grade 3, excellent: 280 capsules/50g;

Grade 4, super grade: 370 capsules/50g;

Grade 5, Grade A: 580 capsules/50g; Require uniform particle size, no dry seeds, oil particles, impurities, moth-eaten, mildew.

Grade 6, Grade B: 980 capsules/50g, with oil particles not exceeding 15%, and no impurities, insects, mildew and other particles.
