The Dragon Boat Festival is known as one of the four major traditional festivals in China, together with the Spring Festival, Qingming Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival. Duanwu culture has a wide influence in the world, and some countries and regions in the world also have activities to celebrate Duanwu. The Dragon Boat Festival became the first Chinese festival to be selected as a World Nonheritage. The Dragon Boat Festival is officially recognized by the Japanese government as the statutory Children's Day, and has become one of the five major festivals in Japan.
