2 squid, 2 cloves of garlic, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, a pinch of salt, a pinch of pepper, 4 tablespoons of flour, 1 egg, 60 grams of breadcrumbs, about 500 milliliters of olive oil (for deep-frying), 100 milliliters of mayonnaise, 2 small pumpkins, and salad greens to taste.
Method
(1)Cut off the squid's innards with a knife, wash it, and then slice it into rings about 5 mm thick.
(2)Marinate the squid rings with garlic and olive oil for about 5 minutes, season with salt and pepper.
(3) Remove the shell of the egg and whisk into an egg batter; dredge the squid rings in flour, egg batter and breadcrumbs.
(4) Fry the squid rings in olive oil at 180 degrees Celsius until golden brown.
(5) Cut the top of the squash with a knife, scrape the flesh with the handle of a spoon and add the mayonnaise.
(6) Place the salad on a plate, top with the pumpkin and fried squid rings, and enjoy.
Tips
If you are worried that the squid will ooze out of the oil when frying, you can cook the squid first, then cut the rings and fry them.
