1, raw material treatment
Corn cobs are needed to grow straw mushrooms. First, fresh corn cobs are exposed to sunlight for about four days. Then, cover the soaking pool with a layer of plastic sheet. Place the corn cobs evenly into the 30cm thick soaking pool and sprinkle about 1cm of lime powder on top. Repeat this until the soaking pool is full, then soak the corn cobs in water until they turn yellow.
2, spreading and sowing
Spreading and sowing are very important in straw mushroom planting technology. Spread the soaked corn cobs evenly on the soil over an area of 80cm. then sprinkle the straw mushroom seeds on top and cover with a moisturizing film. To allow the seeds to breathe, you can dig a few small holes in the moisturizing film and cover them with soil every 20cm or so.
3, germination and bud promotion
Growing straw mushrooms need high temperature to let them take root. Therefore, you need to close the price shed and keep the temperature between 32-37. When the temperature is higher than 37, you need to poke holes in the cling film. After a week of planting, the greenhouse can be properly ventilated.
4, post-planting management
When the straw mushroom grows, the temperature in the greenhouse should be controlled between 28 and 33, but not higher than 40, otherwise it will cause the death of the straw mushroom. Several humidifiers are placed around it to increase the humidity of the air. During the mushrooming period, it is better not to water the straw mushrooms but to supply water properly at the walkway.
5. Post-picking management
About 15 days after picking, don test water or supplement water. Cover the mushroom bed with film, and control the indoor temperature at about 30. 3 days later spray water, add lime water to increase air humidity, and ventilate diligently to increase air circulation.
