What is hyperuricemia?
High uric acid is a "silent killer!" Uric acid is the final product of noise metabolism in human body. When the concentration of uric acid in blood is higher than normal, it will precipitate in the form of urate crystals and deposit in joints, cardiovascular system, kidney, pancreas and so on. Usually, it first manifests as sudden joint swelling and thermal pain. The normal value of uric acid in men is 149~4 16umol/L, and that in women is 89~357umo 1/L+.
The harm of high uric acid! ?
1. Damage to kidney: lead to acute uric acid nephropathy, some patients will have urinary calculi, renal colic and other manifestations, some patients will have chronic hyperuricemia, leading to tubulointerstitial lesions, and may have renal failure and uremia.
2. Gout: 5%- 10% patients will have gout, which will lead to abnormal joints and even affect their lives.
3. Causes hyperuricemia, hypertension, diabetes, coronary heart disease and other diseases.
