If you buy jiaozi without vacuum packaging, or jiaozi packaged by yourself, I suggest you put what you want in the refrigerator in the near future, or put it in a clean plastic bag and keep it in the freezer. Zongzi is a kind of cooked food, and the shelf life is usually only a few days if it is stored at room temperature. It is usually kept in the freezer of the refrigerator, but it can only be kept for a week at the longest. The cooked zongzi must wait for its temperature to drop, and then dry the water before it can be put into the refrigerator. Otherwise, under the dual effects of temperature and humidity, zongzi will easily deteriorate, and moldy zongzi is inedible for us.
If your bag of jiaozi is vacuumized, you can put it in the refrigerator for about 7 days and freeze it in the refrigerator for about 15 days. If you buy vacuum-packed jiaozi in the supermarket, it can generally be kept for 3- 12 months according to different manufacturers and processes. Generally, vacuum-packed zongzi need to be refrigerated or frozen in the refrigerator. Therefore, it is recommended to take it out and thaw it for a while before cooking, or cook it directly for a long time to avoid not being completely heated in the middle.
If you buy vacuum zongzi in a shopping mall, you can still keep it at room temperature for 3-5 days without opening the vacuum bag, or you can keep it in the refrigerator for two or three months. If the vacuum bag is found to be damaged and leaking during storage, do not eat or drink. Wrap zongzi with fresh-keeping bag or plastic wrap to prevent zongzi from deteriorating easily after contact with air, and at the same time reduce the possibility of odor.
